RED BLOSSOM FARMS AND ASG PRODUCE JOIN FORCES TO FORM RED BLOSSOM SALES

Salinas, CA – December 31, 2007 – Red Blossom Farms and ASG Produce will officially merge companies January 1, 2008 to form Red Blossom Sales, Inc.
After working as a dynamic team for three years, Red Blossom Farms and ASG Produce have decided to join forces to build a seamless, marketing company with in-house sales. The merger will create administrative and service synergies for Red Blossom Sales, as well as their growers and customers.
Sales will continue to be headquartered in Oxnard, CA under Craig Casca. David Lawrence will also handle sales out of the Santa Ynez, CA office, but his primary duty will continue to be developing the existing grower base. Customer and vendor numbers/accounts will remain the same to create an uninterrupted transition. The new company will continue to represent current strawberry growers including Red Blossom Farms and Saticoy Berry Farms in Oxnard, as well as Ronald Nunn Farms’ apples, Skip Foppiano’s bell peppers and cherries and west coast distribution of Sunbelle Inc.’s blackberries, blueberries and raspberries.
Owners Craig Casca and David Lawrence intend to capitalize on their combined strengths to manage the continued growth of Red Blossom strawberries and ASG Produce. As stated by David Lawrence, President Red Blossom Farms: “Our respective businesses have grown tremendously over the last five years and by joining forces we can create a unified presence to more effectively represent our growers and customers within the industry. Our customer service level will continue to be strong and our attention to detail will not change. The merger will enable us to simplify our administrative systems, and build deeper service levels for our customer base.” Red Blossom Sales intends to build on its momentum by developing their product line and adding other fruits that compliment their current products.
